A Bit About Me
Nice to meet you! I am a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Music Technology. Throughout my study years, I focused on all the major aspects of technology in sound which include: using DAWs, creating with foley, working with microphones, the generals of algorithmic music composition, and much more. My senior project was a study on middleware, their faculties, their integration methods, and examples of how to use them, along with interviews from the sound designers of several well-known games.
Upon graduation, I worked at several media-based companies learning how audio is used in the modern world and applying those skills to projects. They included trailer house Cutters Studios, non-profit media organization Chicago Filmmakers, and film production studio Dreamscape Cinema.
In my free time, I work on several independent projects to bolster my knowledge of audio creation and application. I enjoy creating interactive audio, typically seen in video games or AR/VR environments. Building upon my middleware senior project, I frequently create my own game audio projects for display as an example of how to create immersive sound in interactive media. My end goal is to have projects in Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, and VR to display in my portfolio. I am currently Co-Founder of Trashfire Games, an independent game company working on their debut game, An Eternity Gone By. I create music, both vocal and instrumental, which I release to the public. My songs have reached over 20,000 cumulative streams on Spotify.
Thank you for your time, and I hope you enjoy looking through my website!
